JetBlue Airways to launch two new routes to San Juan

JetBlue Airways Airbus A320-232 N763JB (msn 3707) JFK (Ken Petersen), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

JetBlue Airways (New York) will launch new service linking Newark and San Juan starting on April 25, 2012 with Airbus A320s. The company will add West Palm Beach-San Juan flights on May 15, 2012.

In other news, JetBlue has selected Pratt & Whitney PurePower® PW1100G-JM engines for its recently ordered fleet of Airbus A320neo aircraft. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) includes 86 PurePower engines with a long-term PureSolution(SM) maintenance service agreement. Deliveries for the carrier’s firm aircraft order are scheduled to start in 2018.
