China Airlines (Taipei) on March 25 per Airline Route will launch three new routes to Japan from its Taipei (Taoyuan) hub: Kagoshima (three flights a week), Shizuoka (three flights a week) and Toyama (twice weekly). All three routes will be operated with Boeing 737-800s.
As of December 31, 2011 the company operated 70 aircraft, including 50 passenger jets (13 Boeing 747-400s, 10 737-800s, six Airbus A340-300 and 21 A330-300s) and 20 Boeing 747-400F freighters
