AirEuropa to downsize, will furlough 260 employees and retire the two Boeing 767-300s

AirEuropa (Madrid) has announced it will furlough 260 employees, including 46 pilots, due to its financial situation. The company lost money in 2011 for the first time.

The airline will retire its two Boeing 767-300s and some of the new Embraer ERJ 195s.
