Spirit Airlines (Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood) announced today three new nonstop flights per week between Myrtle Beach and Dallas/Fort Worth starting on May 3, 2012 and also new daily nonstop seasonal service between Atlantic City and Atlanta on May 17, 2012.
The new service from Atlantic City will also offer one-stop same aircraft continuing service to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (via Atlanta).
In addition, Spirit is resuming daily seasonal service between Atlantic City and Boston on March 1, 2012, and daily seasonal service from Atlantic City to Detroit and Chicago O’Hare on May 3, 2012.
Spirit is building up its presence at DFW. Previously the ultra low-fare airline announced the following new routes:
Effective February 9:
Dallas/Ft Worth (DFW) and New York – La Guardia (LGA)
Dallas/Ft Worth (DFW) and Atlanta (ATL)
Dallas/Ft Worth (DFW) and Orlando (MCO)
Las Vegas (LAS) and Phoenix-Mesa (AZA)
Effective March 22, 2012:
Dallas/Ft Worth (DFW) and Boston (BOS)
Dallas/Ft Worth (DFW) and Phoenix-Mesa
