LAN Airlines (Chile) (Santiago) operated its first biofuel flight today (March 7) in Chile. The aircraft chosen for this milestone flight was this Airbus A320-214 registered CC-BAU. The fuel was provided by Shell BP/Copec. The biofuel, flight LA 1357, was operated between Santiago (SCL) and Concepción/Carriel Sur (CCP) and return. The previous day there was an one hour test flight near Santiago.
