American Airlines (Dallas/Fort Worth) did not have a good day at its large DFW hub yesterday afternoon. Numerous tornadoes rolled through the Metroplex area with DFW getting a large hailstorm. Over 110 aircraft on the ground at DFW when the storm rolled through received various degrees of hail damage with AA receiving the lion’s share. American inspected 68 aircraft for damage and American Eagle inspected 33 aircraft for damage according to this report by the Star-Telegram.

At Love field (DAL), Southwest cancelled 21 arrivals and 25 departures due to the storm but did not receive the hail damage.
