American and its flight attendants fail to reach an agreement, pilots next, stage is set for a bankruptcy court ruling

American Airlines (AMR Corporation) (Dallas/Fort Worth) and the Association of Professional Flight Attendants ended their two days of new contract talks without reaching an agreement according to this report by Reuters.

This now sets the stage for the bankruptcy court judge to rule on the company’s request to void all labor contracts and impose new (lower) contracts.

The pilots are due to meet with the company for a new round of talks starting tomorrow.
