US Airways (Phoenix) today (June 8) began daily, nonstop service for its customers in San Diego to Washington Reagan National Airport. Military, business and leisure travelers in Southern California will now have a convenient access from San Diego International Airport to the nation’s capital’s downtown airport for the first time with nonstop service.
Starting June 8, US Airways will operate service to San Diego on dual-class 124-seat Airbus A319 aircraft. The flight schedule is as follows.

US Airways will also launch daily, nonstop service to Augusta, Georgia.; Minneapolis/St. Paul; Toronto (Pearson), Ontario; Montreal (Trudeau), Quebec and Fayetteville, Arkansas from Reagan National on July 11. Following the start of these flights, the airline will have launched new daily, nonstop service on a total of 22 routes from Washington’s downtown airport this year – connecting communities of all size to the nation’s capital.
