Royal Air Maroc (Casablanca) will introduce the new Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner on the Casablanca-Paris (Orly) route on January 8, 2015 per Airline Route. Casablanca-New York (JFK) 787 service is due to start on February 22, 2015. The new type will also operate to Montreal (Trudeau) starting on March 29, 2015, Algiers (June 14, 2015) and Jeddah (June 16, 2015).

Is one of these a member of the infamous gang of sixteen fat overweight 787-8’s that had to be held up for modifications and have been declined by their airlines for failing to meet specification? A RAM version has been sitting about in Seattle for over two years. Maybe they were given such a massive discount in the end to take it?
Yes I have seen it at PAE. I believe it will be a new production aircraft although that remains an unknown. So far Boeing has not found any buyers for the 16 early underperforming models. All the best.
