airBaltic has announced that as of May 2022 it will open a new base in Tampere, Finland.
airBaltic will connect Tampere with six direct flights in addition to continued operations to Riga, Latvia. The announcement was made during a special press conference in Tampere.

Starting from May 2022, airBaltic will perform direct flights from Tampere to Oslo (Norway) and Copenhagen (Denmark), Frankfurt and Munich (both Germany) as well as sunny leisure destinations Malaga (Spain) and Rhodes (Greece).

Currently airBaltic offers more than 70 direct destinations from Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius. In September, airBaltic launched direct flights from Riga to sunny Tenerife (Spain) and Dubai (United Arab Emirates).
