Fly Kumba ceases operations in Zimbabwe

Fly Kumba (Harare) suspended all operations on January 8. Previously it had started started low-fare operations on March 18, 2010 using a wet leased Boeing 737-500 from Air Namibia.

Fly Kumba finally starts low-fare flights in Zimbabwe

Fly Kumba (Harare) finally started its low-fare scheduled flights on March 18 between Bulawayo and Johannesburg with a wet-leased Boeing 737-500 from Air Namibia. The carrier had been delayed from its previously announced start-up date of November 13, 2009.

Fly Kumba to fly in September

Fly Kumba (Harare) is destined to be Zimbabwe’s first low cost airline. It is planning to launch scheduled operations in September with Boeing 737-200s. It will initially operate on the Harare-Johannesburg and Bulawayo-Johannesburg routes.
