GECAS orders 12 Airbus A330-300s

GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of General Electric, has signed a firm order for 12 additional long-range A330-300 aircraft. This new order brings the total number of A330s ordered by GECAS to 32.

GECAS has a fleet of over 1800 aircraft, used by 245 airlines. Nearly all aircraft owned by GECAS are powered by engines fromย GE-Aviation, another subsidiary of General Electric.

GECAS orders 40 Boeing 737-800s

GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of General Electric, today announced an order for 40 Next-Generation Boeing 737-800s at the Farnborough International Air Show.

The parade of orders has begun this week. All manufacturers “stack” their pending orders so they can be announced and signed during major aviation events.
