GECAS orders 12 Airbus A330-300s

GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of General Electric, has signed a firm order for 12 additional long-range A330-300 aircraft. This new order brings the total number of A330s ordered by GECAS to 32.

GECAS has a fleet of over 1800 aircraft, used by 245 airlines. Nearly all aircraft owned by GECAS are powered by engines from GE-Aviation, another subsidiary of General Electric.
