Kulula’s latest logojet – “Flying 101”

Kulula (kulula.com) (Johannesburg) is certainly not your average (boring) airline. The company has a sense of humor and tries to make flying fun and colorful. The airline has had a long history of colorful logojets. The latest is this ex-Axis Airways Boeing 737-86N now registered ZS-ZWP (msn 28612, ex OK-PIK) which was rolled out at Shannon on January 18 in this all green livery. The small white inscriptions and arrows details the various parts of the aircraft and also the components of the aircraft, hence the title “flying 101”.

JinAir to start Seoul (Incheon)-Manila (Clark) charters

JinAir (subsidiary of Korean Air) (Seoul-Incheon) will start Seoul (Incheon)-Manila (Clark) charter flights on January 14. The low-fare subsidiary plans to make this a scheduled route starting in February. The airline operates four Boeing 737-800s.

Axis Airways (New Axis Airways) (www.fly-axis.com) (Marseille) added its first Boeing 737-800 (F-GZZA) in March. With the addition of new type the airline introduced a new livery.

KTHY changes its brand to Cyprus Turkish

KTHY-Kibris Turk Hava Yollari (Ercan) has introduced a new color scheme and also changed it brand name to Cyprus Turkish Airlines. With the new livery, the company has removed the previous large “KTHY” titles.
