Royal Jordanian retires its last Airbus A340-200

Royal Jordanian Airlines (Amman) retired its last Airbus A340-200 from revenue service on November 27, 2014 after the pictured A340-211 JY-AIA (msn 038) completed its flight from Chicago (O’Hare) to Amman per ch-aviation.

South African surprises with $53.4 m profit

South African Airways (Johannesburg) reported a net profit of $53.4 million for its fiscal year. The company is also planning to lease six Airbus A330-200s to replace its A340-200s.
