Air Arabia to form Air Arabia Egypt joint venture

Air Arabia (Airarabia.com) Airbus A320-214 A6-ABB (msn 2166) SHJ, originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

Air Arabia (airarabia.com) (Sharjah) is forming a joint venture (JV) in Egypt with the Travco Group. The new venture will be named Air Arabia Egypt and is due to start operations later this year or early in 2010 with Airbus A320s. Air Arabia will control 40 percent of the stock of the new company.
