aha! and ExpressJet Airlines file for Chapter 11 and shuts down

aha! Airlines has issued this notice about filing for Chapter bankruptcy protection and also shut down all operations.

The airline commenced operations on October 24, 2021.

Parent, ExpressJet Airlines, filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection in the State of Delaware.

aha! inaugurates new nonstop service between Idaho Falls and Reno-Tahoe

aha!, powered by veteran ExpressJet Airlines and one of the fastest growing airlines in the Western U.S., on August 11 inaugurated new nonstop service between Idaho Falls Regional Airport (IDA) and Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) – connecting Eastern Idaho with the tourism-rich areas of beautiful Lake Tahoeand the “Biggest Little City in the World.”

The RNO-IDA flight departs Reno-Tahoe airport on Thursdays and Sundays at 7:40am PT and arrives in Idaho Falls at 10:15am MT. The return IDA-RNO flight departs Idaho Falls at 10:55am MT and arrives in Reno at 11:30am PT. All flights are operated with the 50-seat Embraer ERJ145 regional jet.

aha!, short for air-hotel-adventure, flies from 10 exciting cities throughout California, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Among the other destinations connected nonstop to Reno-Tahoe are: Fresno/Yosemite, Ontario/Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Santa Rosa/Napa Valley, Spokane and Bend/Redmond.

aha! inaugurates nonstop flights from Reno-Tahoe to Santa Rosa

aha!, powered by veteran ExpressJet Airlines, is excited to become a part of the Santa Rosa/North Bay Area region with its inaugural nonstop flight from Reno on July 14, 2022.

This first flight begins aha! service between Reno-Tahoe International Airport and Charles M. Schultz-Sonoma County Airport.

Flights will operate each Thursday and Sunday departing Reno Tahoe International Airport at 3:40 p.m. PT arriving at Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport at 4:37 p.m. PT.

Return flights will depart Santa Rosa at 5:15 p.m. PT and arrive in Reno-Tahoe at 6:12 p.m. PT.

aha! to begin nonstop flights from Reno to Boise

aha!, powered by veteran ExpressJet Airlines, has announced that it will begin nonstop service between Reno and Boise, Idaho on August 31, 2022 – bridging Idaho’s City of Trees and the Biggest Little City with one convenient, nonstop route.

aha! will fly to the Boise Airport (BOI) three times a week with 50-seat Embraer ERJ145 regional jets. The addition of Boise comes after the recently announced Idaho Falls route, which begins August 11, and will bring the number of cities served by nonstop flights from aha!‘s home base at Reno-Tahoe International Airport to 11.

aha!, powered by veteran ExpressJet Airlines, announced nonstop service between Reno and Santa Rosa, Calif. beginning July 14, 2022 – connecting the urban heart of the wine country and the “Biggest Little City in the World.”

aha! will fly to the Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport two times a week with 50-seat Embraer ERJ 145 regional jets. With the addition of Santa Rosa aha! will serve 10 cities with nonstop flights from its hub and home base at Reno-Tahoe International Airport.

The quick 57-minute nonstop flight gives travelers more time for adventure and less time traveling. Flights will operate each Thursday and Sunday departing Reno Tahoe International Airport at 3:40 p.m. PT arriving at Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport at 4:37 p.m. PT. Return flights will depart Santa Rosa at 5:15 p.m. PT and arrive in Reno-Tahoe at 6:12 p.m. PT.

Presently aha! connects nine markets to its hub in Reno-Tahoe: Bakersfield, Fresno, Ontario and Palm Springs, Calif.; Eugene/Springfield, Medford/Ashland and Redmond/Bend, Ore.; and Pasco/Tri Cities and Spokane, Wash.

aha!, powered by veteran ExpressJet Airlines, flew its inaugural nonstop flight (above and below) to Reno on Jan. 3, 2022. The inaugural flight begins aha! service between Reno-Tahoe International Airport and Palm Springs International Airport.

Flights will operate each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday departing Palm Springs International Airport at 11:05 a.m. PT arriving in Reno-Tahoe at 12:40 p.m. PTReno to Palm Springs flights depart at 8:40 a.m. PT and arrive at 10:15 a.m. PT.

aha! powered by veteran ExpressJet Airlines is excited to become part of the Spokane/Coeur d’Alene region with its inaugural nonstop flight to Reno on December 15, 2021. The inaugural flight begins aha! service between Reno-Tahoe International Airport and Spokane International Airport.

Flight Schedule
Through Jan. 3, 2021, flights operate each Monday, Wednesday and Friday departing Spokane International Airport at 3:15 p.m. PT arriving in Reno-Tahoe at 5:14 p.m. PT. Reno to Spokane flights depart at 12:25 p.m. PT and arrive at 2:24 p.m. PT. Beginning Jan. 6, flights will operate each Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday departing Spokane at 2:55 p.m. and arriving Reno at 4:54 p.m. Return flights will depart Reno at 12:05 p.m. and arrive Spokane at 2:04 p.m.

In other news, aha! has extended its bookable flight schedule through May 31, 2022.
