ASL Airlines France launches a new summer route to Morocco

ASL Airlines (France) launched the first flight to Oujda, Morocco took off on June 14 at 11:20 from Strasbourg Airport.

The departure of the flight was inaugurated by Thomas Dubus, President of the Executive Board of Strasbourg Airport and Eric Vincent, Commercial Director of the ASL Airlines France Program in the presence of Mr. Khalid Afkir, Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Strasbourg.

The crew, Mr. Eric Vincent, Commercial Director of the program of ASL Airlines France and Mr. Khalid Afkir, Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco, cutting the ribbon. On his right, Ryme Mezzour, Vice Consul, Consulate General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Strasbourg.

The new route will operate until September 13. ASL Airlines France serves to Oujda every Thursday:

Departure from Strasbourg at 11:20 – arrival at Oujda at 13:05 (2:45 flight)
Departure from Oujda at 14:05 – arrival in Strasbourg at 17:45 (2:40 flight)
* All times are indicated in local time, there is 1 hour time difference between France and Morocco.

During the same period, from June 14 to September 13, ASL Airlines France also serves the Strasbourg – Bordeaux route on Thursdays:

Departure from Strasbourg at 18:35 – arrival in Bordeaux at 20:05
Departure from Bordeaux at 09:00 – arrival in Strasbourg at 10:30

Sun Country to add seasonal service to New Orleans and Santa Barbara

Sun Country Airlines has announced the addition of two new destinations and one new route to its growing network. Sun Country will now be offering seasonal nonstop service between Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP) and New Orleans (MSY), Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP) and Santa Barbara (SBA), and Santa Rosa/Sonoma County (STS) and Las Vegas (LAS). With these new routes, Sun Country offers a total of 53 nonstop routes throughout the year.

Additionally, Sun Country announced new service to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Honolulu, Hawaii in December, 2017. Seasonal nonstop service between Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP) and Myrtle Beach (MYR) is offered April 6 through June 4, operating twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays. Seasonal flights to Honolulu (HNL) are offered May 19 through August 19, operating four times a week, Friday through Monday, from Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP) with connection via Los Angeles (LAX).

ASL Airlines France to fly to Israel

ASL Airlines France has announced it will operate twice-weekly passenger service between Paris (CDG) and Tel Aviv between July 3 and August 30, 2018. The flights will be operated with 141-seat Boeing 737-700s.

ASL Airlines has contracted with TAL Aviation to be their general sales agent.

Air Saint-Pierre to connect with Paris, France this summer via ASL Airlines

Air Saint-Pierre will operate weekly seasonal flights from July 2 to August 20, 2018 to Paris (CDG).

The French outpost in North America will see a direct link operated by ASL Airlines. Air Saint-Pierre also has summer connections via Halifax and Dublin with ASL Airlines France.

Saint Pierre and Miquelon, officially the Overseas Collectivity of Saint Pierre and Miquelon, is a self-governing territorial overseas collectivity of France, situated in the northwestern Atlantic Ocean near the Newfoundland and Labrador province of Canada. It is the only part of New France that remains under French control, with an area of 242 km and a population of 6,080 at the January 2011 census.

Sun Country Airlines modifies its livery

Sun Country Airlines (Minneapolis/St. Paul) has quietly modified and simplified its livery. The revised color scheme now has full titles and the forward two-tone blue “S” logo has been removed. The first aircraft to receive the new treatment is Boeing 737-73V N711SY (msn 30245).
