Nordica to add Groningen – Nice service

Operated by LOT Polish Airlines

Nordica (Tallinn) will add seasonal weekly service connecting Groningen with Nice from June 16 to October 6, 2018 according to Airline Route.

In other news, Nordica welcomed its one millionth passenger on December 20, 2017. The airline issued this statement:

Compared to 2016, Estoniaโ€™s national airline Nordica has flown 65% more passengers in the year to date โ€“ including, today, the one millionth traveller to fly with the airline!

During the high season Nordica flies to 20 destinations and remains unchallenged as the airline with the largest share of the Estonian market.

Toomas Uibo, Nordicaโ€™s Director of Marketing and Communication, says that the company had expected to break the one-million-passenger barrier in 2018 but that its successful period of growth has meant it reaching this symbolic milestone before the end of 2017. โ€œFor a small country and a young airline, thatโ€™s a big number,โ€ he said. โ€œIt means a lot. Weโ€™re really grateful to all of the passengers whoโ€™ve flown with us and helped us hit this mark much earlier than we thought we would.โ€

The airline presented its one millionth passenger with two free tickets to the Nordica destination of their choice. The lucky recipient will be able to choose from more than 20 destinations.

American Airlines to consolidate operations at New Yorkโ€™s LaGuardia Airport

American Airlines customers will enjoy an improved experience at New Yorkโ€™s LaGuardia Airport (LGA) starting December 9, 2017 when the carrier consolidates its operations to one terminal.

Upon the move, all American flights from LGA will be located in Terminal B. Since December 2013, flights have been split between Terminals B and C. This consolidated operation means all customers will check in at Terminal B and American will operate flights from each of the terminalโ€™s four concourses.โ€

To ensure smooth travels for passengers, Americanโ€™s customer assistance representatives will be stationed throughout Terminal B to guide customers and answer questions.

The terminal move at LGA is just another example of the customer experience improvements American is bringing to hubs across its network. Earlier this week, Philadelphia International Airportโ€™s Terminal B debuted new food and dining options. Additionally, American is in the process of building five new gates at its Chicago Oโ€™Hare hub and is investing more than $1.6 billion to improve the experience at Los Angeles International Airport.
