Air Canada to launch daily, seasonal Calgary-Palm Springs and Edmonton-Las Vegas flights

Air Canada on March 7 announced it will launch daily, seasonal flights between Calgary and Palm Springs, and between Edmonton and Las Vegas starting on October 28, 2018. connecting off our international flights.”

Air Canada is also increasing the frequency of its flights from Calgary to Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, Phoenix, and from Vancouver to Phoenix and Palm Springs.

The new Calgary to Palm Springs, and Edmonton to Las Vegas flights will be onboard Air Canada Airbus A320 and Air Canada Rouge Airbus A319 aircraft (above) respectively, both offering premium and economy cabins.

Air Canada rouge to expand to Quebec City

Air Canada rouge is expanding it route map to Quebec City. According to Airline Route, rouge will start operating in Quebec City on July 1, 2018 and will take over the two Air Canada Express routes from YQB to both Montreal (Trudeau) and Toronto (Pearson).

Air Canada rouge to launch nonstop Montreal-Victoria flights for summer 2018

Air Canada has announced nonstop, seasonal service between Montreal (Trudeau) and Victoria, B.C. starting in June 2018. The new domestic transcontinental route complements Air Canada’s U.S. transborder expansion announced Wednesday with new non-stop year-round Montreal–Baltimore and Montreal–Pittsburgh routes beginning on June 22, 2018.

Air Canada’s has announced seven new destinations from Montreal for 2018: Tokyo–Narita (Japan), Phoenix, Pittsburgh and Baltimore (U.S.), Dublin (Ireland), Lisbon (Portugal) and Bucharest (Romania).

In 2017 Air Canada started service to Shanghai (China), Marseille (France), Dallas/Ft. Worth (U.S.), Washington/Dulles (U.S.), Keflavik (Iceland), Tel-Aviv (Israel), Algiers (Algeria) and in December to Lima (Peru).

Air Canada rouge to launch flights between Montreal and Orlando on February 15

Air Canada rouge (Toronto) will begin flying nonstop flights between Montreal (Trudeau) and Orlando starting on February 15 with two daily departures from Montreal. Service will be year round and represents a 30 percent capacity increase this summer compared to Air Canada service last year. Air Canada rouge offers more flights between Montreal and Orlando than any other carrier. With the launch of the increased Montreal service, there is more Air Canada/Air Canada rouge nonstop service between Canada and Orlando than any other carrier, with Air Canada flights from Halifax and Ottawa and Air Canada rouge flights from Toronto and Montreal.

Flights between Montreal and Orlando will be operated with Airbus A319 aircraft.

Air Canada paints the first Airbus A319 for Air Canada rouge

Air Canada (Montreal) has painted and handed over its first Airbus A319 for its new low-fare division called Air Canada rouge. The company issued these photos and short statement:

Countdown to takeoff! Air Canada rouge has just taken delivery of its first Airbus 319 aircraft in its new livery at Mirabel Airport today (May 22) where it will now undergo a new interior design. Air Canada rouge will soon be leading the way in affordable, leisure travel when service starts July 1. Further details will be released on flight team training and the unveiling of new uniforms starts on May 27.
