Four abandoned Boeing 737 Classics to be auctioned in Chile

The Chilean Customs (Servicio Nacional de Aduanas) is conducting its third auction of the year on September 2, 2018.

Aside from abandoned/confiscated goods, there are four Boeing 737-200/300 aircraft abandoned at Santiago Airport (SCL), Chile . The airliners are:

CC-ACD, Boeing 737-2K9, msn 23404; last operator and owner was Bravo Capital 23404, LLC. (PAL Airlines livery)

Latin American Wings starts operations in Chile

Chilejet awaits final approvals to start operations

Chilejet S.A. (Chilejet.com) (Santiago) as we previously reported, is a new airline “established in Chile to serve specific niche markets in the air charter and scheduled markets.”

On December 4, 2014 Chilejet announced Santiago and Antofagasta airport stations have been approved by the Chilean Air Aviation Authority – DGAC, in order to start flight operations. The new airline plans to fly from Santiago (SCL) to Calama (CJC) and Antofagasta (ANF).

PAL Airlines gets its AOC back, resumes operations

PAL Airlines (Santiago) has overcome all the issues raised by Chile’s DGAC (Civil Aviation Directorate) during the inspection of its facilities at Santiago’s Arturo Merino Benítez Airport. On June 11 the airline got its AOC back. PAL Airlines has begun operations again with Boeing 737-300 CC-AIT. A second aircraft is being prepared to fly football fans to the FIFA 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
