EasyJet Switzerland launches Basel/Mulhouse-Tenerife South flights

easyJet (Switzerland) Airbus A320-214 HB-JZY (msn 4196) BSL (Paul Bannwarth), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

EasyJet Switzerland (Geneva) has based a seventh Airbus, an A320 at Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg (EuroAirport). The Swiss carrier on December 16 launched a new route from Basel/Mulhouse to Tenerife South.

The company is also starting a new route this month to Fuerteventura and next year to Ibiza, Faro and Toulouse from BSL.

EasyJet Switzerland now operates 358 weekly flights from EuroAirport to 33 destinations.

In 2011 easyJet has transported 2.4 million passengers (up +26%) from BSL.
