DHL (Bonn) and UPS (United Parcel Service) have agreed to mutually end their negotiations for UPS to take over DHL’s domestic package services. The two parties could not agree on the details. DHL ended domestic operations in the United States in January. DHL also announced it will reactivate the Cincinnati cargo hub and move all international operations from Wilmington, OH to CVG by the late summer. DHL will still maintain international services from the U.S. The state of Ohio and the city of Wilmington have also asked DHL to donate the soon-to-be-vacant Wilmington Air Park to the city so another operator can be found.
