El Al Israel Airlines (Tel Aviv) intends to become a new Boeing 787 operator.
Boeing has issued this statement:
Boeing is pleased that El Al Israel Airlines has announced its intent to purchase and lease up to 15 787 Dreamliners, with purchase rights for 13 additional airplanes. When finalized, the order will be posted to the Boeing Orders & Deliveries website.

This is not surprising. What was is the Airbus order from Arkia.
Not sure, you may want to do a search.
I’m surprised Arkia, the other Israeli airline didn’t go Boeing too.
Why surprised ? Israir Already has 2 Airbus planes and just ordered another. I wish El-Al had some Airbuses as well.
I also suspect that these are the planes that were ordered by AEROFLOT which cancelled them just 2-3 weeks ago.
Could be Nir. Thank you.
