Quantum Air (Palma de Mallorca) due to the low demand for their scheduled flights and ad-hoc charter services this past summer, has decided to shed at least two of its five Boeing 717-200s. EC-HUZ and EC-JZX  have been painted in an all white condition prior to the return to the lessor. For the 2010 season the airline is planning to return the rest of its 717 fleet due its unprofitability and swap them for larger McDonnell Douglas DC-9-80s (MD-80s).
