Delta to cut 840 jobs and reduce gates at the Cincinnati hub

Delta Air Lines (Atlanta) stated yesterday (March 16) that it could cut 840 jobs at a ground-handling subsidiary as part of a plan to consolidate operations at Cincinnati (CVG) in May to save costs according to this Reuters report.

The airline plans to operate mainline and regional flights from one concourse instead of two at CVG, effective May 1, and reduce the number of gates leased at that airport to 28 from 50.
