Allegiant Air (Las Vegas) had an incident yesterday at Sanford, FL (near Orlando). The right engine on ex-AeroMexico McDonnell Douglas DC-9-83 (MD-83) N893GA (msn 53051, ex N881LF) had a contained engine fire as the aircraft was pushing back from the gate. The fire was contained using foam and the flight was cancelled. Passengers were put on another aircraft for their flight.
