WestJet launches a new route to New Orleans

WestJet Airlines Boeing 737-7CT WL C-GWBJ (msn 32754) YUL (Gilbert Hechema), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

WestJet Airlines (Calgary) today (November 1) announced the launch of new, seasonal non-stop service between Toronto and New Orleans, LA. The inaugural flight departed Toronto’s Pearson International Airport at 9 a.m. EDT today.

WestJet will fly between Toronto and New Orleans four times per week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The flight will be operated from November 1, 2010 to April 29, 2011.
