Airberlin is coming to Gatwick Airport in February

Airberlin (airberlin.com) (Berlin-Tegel) will soon add Gatwick Airport near London. LGW will soon be airberlin’s second airport in London after Stansted Airport. From February 7, 2011 Airberlin will be linking Hanover and Nuremberg with LGW. The number of weekly services from both German airports to London will remain unchanged. From February until October 2011 inclusive Airberlin’s red and white aircraft will consequently be taking off twice a day from Nuremberg to Gatwick Monday to Friday and once a day on Sunday. From Hanover, the regional capital of Lower Saxony, passengers will also have a choice of two flights a day, six days a week (one flight on Saturday).

The direct flights from Düsseldorf, Münster/Osnabrück and Paderborn to London Stansted are not affected by this change of airport and will continue to be available.
