Trans Air Congo to acquire its first Boeing 737-300

Trans Air Congo-TAC (Brazzaville) is getting ready to take delivery from GECAS its first Boeing 737-300.

Formerly operated by Sama Airlines, Boeing 737-33A arrived at Dublin Airport on September 11, 2010 as HZ-DRW (msn 25138) in full Sama colors. The airliner went into storage as N552MS  following the Saudi Arabian carrier’s demise.

N552MS is pictured at DUB performing engine runs on the disused runway 23 on February 5. N552MS now painted, is destined for Trans Air Congo.

TAC was established on August 24, 1994 by the El-Hage family and started operations with a single Let 410 aircraft. Early services were largely between Brazzaville and Pointe Noire.
