Southwest intends to end the SkyWest contract with AirTran

SkyWest Airlines (USA) Bombardier CRJ200 (CL-600-2B19) N953SW (msn 7813) SAN (James Helbock), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

Southwest Airlines (Dallas) intends to give SkyWest Airlines (St. George) that it expects to terminate the contract with AirTran Airways. SkyWest operates CRJ200s from the Milwaukee to six Midwest cities, namely Des Moines, Omaha, St. Louis; Akron-Canton, Indianapolis and Pittsburgh. SkyWest does not operate in AirTran colors.
