Lufthansa to introduce the Airbus A380 to Miami International Airport

Lufthansa Airbus A380-841 D-AIMB (msn 041) FRA (Ton Jochems) (second A380), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

Lufthansa (Frankfurt) will have the honor of being the first airline to introduce the Airbus A380 to Miami International Airport. LH will introduce the A380 on the Frankfurt-Miami route on June 10.

To mark the milestone, MIA is honoring the past with the arrival of American Airlines-painted Douglas DC-3 and Eastern Air Lines-painted Douglas DC-7B with the arrival of the A380 at 1340 (1:40 PM) local time. The entire event will be webcast live by the airport.
