Allegiant Air (Las Vegas) today announced the addition of Asheville, NC and new nonstop service between Asheville and Sanford, FL (near Orlando) via Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB). The new route will begin on November 18.
The new flights will operate two times weekly between Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) and Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) with service on Mondays and Fridays. Flights will depart Asheville at 8:20 p.m. (2020) arriving in Sanford at 9:50 p.m. (2150). Flights leaving Sanford will depart at 6:10 p.m. (1810) arriving in Asheville at 7:40 p.m. (1940) (all flight times are local). The carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat DC-9-80 (MD-80) jet aircraft on the route.
