Lao Central Airlines gets ready to acquire its first aircraft

Lao Central Airlines (Vientiane) has been born in Laos. The new airline is preparing to take delivery of its first aircraft.

This Boeing 737-4K5 registered RDPL-34183 (msn 24127) was rolled out at Amsterdam on October 18, 2011 in full colors.

Formerly known as Phongsavanh Airlines, Lao Central is the first private airline in Laos. The new airline is expected to launch operations before the end of 2011. The first route is expected to be between Vientiane and Bangkok, expanding later to Vietnam according to this article by Lao Voices.

    The “first” aircraft for this airline is currently sitting on the tarmac at Wattay International Airport, Vientiane, Lao! It is RDPL 34189
