Ethiopian Airlines to code-share with Singapore Airlines

Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 777-260 LR ET-ANN (msn 40770) DXB (Michael Stappen) (first ET Triple Seven), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

Ethiopian Airlines (Addis Ababa) announced today it will begin code-sharing with Singapore Airlines (Singapore) starting on November 1, 2011. The new agreement will permit Ethiopian’s customers the option of flying to Singapore.

The code-share agreement allows passengers of both carriers to have wider choices of services between Asia and Africa. According to the agreement, Ethiopian will code share on Singapore Airlines operating flights between Singapore and Dubai and Singapore Airlines will code share on Ethiopian operating flights between Addis Ababa and Dubai effective November 1, 2011.

Ethiopian currently serves Dubai 20 times a week.
