Boeing 787 Dreamliner operators are still publicly bullish about the new type and understand there always problems with a new type of aircraft. Each operator, and soon-to-be operators, are standing steady with their orders despite three recent episodes involving the aircraft.
ANA was forced to cancel a 787 Dreamliner scheduled flight from Yamaguchi to Tokyo due to brake problems according to this report by Reuters.
Boeing remains “extremely confident” in the aircraft despite the recent incident. Boeing believes it can work through the issues as there are many redundant systems to insure safety.
