Allegiant celebrates 10 years in Florida with a new “Visit Florida” Airbus A320 logo jet

Allegiant Air (Las Vegas) yesterday (November 4) celebrated 10 years of flying to Florida. The company unveiled and induced into its fleet a newly acquired Airbus A320 aircraft with a special VISIT FLORIDA branded livery. Allegiant hosted the unveiling event at the Orlando-Sanford International Airport (SFB) north of Orlando.

The new livery commemorates the company’s ongoing partnership with VISIT FLORIDA to promote tourism and visitation in the Sunshine State. Since Allegiant began bringing visitors into Florida in 2005, the company has brought more than 22 million people into the state and generated an estimated $15.84 billion in visitor spending. Allegiant employs nearly 1,500 people in Florida d as a result of s its operations in the state.

Between now and the end of the year, Allegiant is inaugurating 14 new Florida flights with two new routes to Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood, three new routes to Fort Myers, three new routes to St. Petersburg/Clearwater and six new routes to Sanford from cities across the country.
