Air India (Mumbai) on Thursday (September 3) had an incident at Mumbai where a fuel leak led to an engine fire before flight AI 829 was due to depart to Riyadh. The leak was spotted and the subsequent fire was quickly extinguished as the aircraft stopped on the taxiway near the fire station. Passengers and crew safely exited the aircraft via the emergency chutes.
