Eurowings is releasing the first part of the summer flight schedule 2019 for booking, offering passengers many new routes. From Dusseldorf in particular, new connections complete the portfolio of Eurowingsโ largest base, including two flights to the USA: Newark and Las Vegas.
German domestic flights too will be optimized in the summer flight schedule 2019.
Theย new flightsย from Dusseldorfย are a particular highlight of the upcoming summer flight schedule.ย Passengers flying from the state capital will have the choice of another destinations worldwide.
The Eurowingsโ long-haul offering is continuing its consistent expansion in Dรผsseldorf.
Starting on July 3, 2019, an Airbus A330 or A340 long-haul jet will fly to the gambling city of Las Vegas in the USA every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. With 40 million tourists a year, the city is one of the worldโs most popular holiday destinations and will soon be accessible direct from the Rhine.
As of December this year, Newark International Airport will complete the airlineโs intercontinental offering, supplementing the New York connections with six flights a week.
Passengers travelling from Dusseldorf can also look forward to Caribbean destinations in the coming summer with Cuba added to the route portfolio. Eurowings will fly to Varadero twice a week andย toย Havana once a week.ย
Asian fans will also get their moneyโs worth with flights to Thailandโs capital, Bangkok, leaving three times a week. ย
Other new destinations available from Dusseldorf are Bologna, Florence and Genoa in Italy. While Bologna is on the flight schedule every day, flights to Florence will depart four times a week โ Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays โ just perfect for a long weekend. Genoa completes the Italian programme with a weekly connection.
Passengers in Dusseldorf will also be pleased to see a rise in the number of flights on existing routes. Zurich, for example, will see an increase to up to seven daily flights. And in summer 2019, flights to Copenhagen will also be expanded to two a day on weekdays. The Dรผsseldorf โ Vienna route will be augmented with ten weekly connections.
The flight frequency of Eurowings long-haul from Dusseldorf will also increase: Miami will be supplemented with two further flights, appearing on the flight schedule five times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Fort Myers will continue to be served by three flights a week and New York by seven flights a week.
Further changes in the summer flight schedule 2019 affect domestic German air traffic: Eurowings is optimizing domestic flights with better customer-tailored flight times. This includes routes such as Cologne โ Berlin, up to 15 times a day starting at โฌ18.99, Stuttgart โ Berlin Tegel, also starting at โฌ18.99, and Dรผsseldorf โ Berlin Tegel, starting at โฌ29.99.
There will also be an increase in the number of flights on routes such as Hamburg โ Stuttgart (up to eleven additional flights per week), Hamburg โ Dรผsseldorf (up to ten additional flights per week) and Hamburg โ Cologne (up to five additional flights per week).
From summer 2019, Eurowings passengers will be headingย from Stuttgartย to new shores in Sylt withย flights to and from the Frisian island in the North Sea every Saturday.
And a new flight taking passengers to Brindisi in Italy is also being addedย in Hanover. Flights to the port city on the Adriatic will depart every Tuesday from May 7, 2019.
