Rossiya Airlines suspends Antonov An-148 scheduled flights

Rossiya Russian Airlines (subsidiary of Aeroflot Russian Airlines) (St. Petersburg) has suspended the operation of  its relatively new six Antonov An-148s from scheduled passenger operations. The new type is more expensive to operate according to ch-aviation quoting company officials. The An-148 is built in the Ukraine. Per Airline Route, the airline operated its last scheduled flight on April 9 from Krasnodar to St. Petersburg. The type was introduced on February 2, 2010 from St. Petersburg to Moscow (Vnukovo).

AeroSvit Ukrainian Airlines to fly Antonov An-148 internationally next month

AeroSvit Ukrainian Airlines (Kiev) will start operating its new Antonov An-148 to Russia starting next month. The new type has been operating on domestic routes.

AeroSvit Ukrainian Airlines (Kiev) as the launch customer on June 2 introduced the Antonov An-148-100B (UR-NTA, msn 0101) with the first revenue flight linking Kiev (Boryspil) and Kharkov. Nine more copies will follow UR-NTA. UR-NTA also introduced a new livery for the company.
