Ethiopian Airlines Cargo (Addis Ababa) Boeing 737-43Q (F) freighter, registered as ET-AQV (msn 28493, ex N493AC/OO-VES), operating for ASky Airlines, today (January 10) skidded off the runway at Accra on landing. The gear collapsed and the right engine was sheared off. The freighter was operating flight KP 4016ย from Lomรฉ to Accra. According to the airline, the aircraft blew its tires on landing. The three crew members safely exited the aircraft. The aircraft is an insurance write off (WO).
