Wizz Air has opened its Austrian base at Vienna Airport with one of its new Airbus A320 aircraft. The new allocated aircraft will support the start of operations of five new services from Vienna to the popular destinations: Valencia, Rome Fiumicino, Malta, Bari and Tel Aviv.
Commitment to Austria
Wizz Air will become the second largest carrier in Austria in 2019 with a local fleet of 5 new Airbus aircraft, operating a network of 30 routes from Vienna to 22 countries and offering in total more than 2.2 million seats/ year. Expanding its operations, Wizz Airโs local team in Vienna will continuously increase, the next recruitment sessions being scheduled on June 21 in Vienna.
