Thai Airways International on December 1, 2017 celebrated the launch of Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner for its flight operations on the Bangkok-Taipei route.
Starting on December 1, 2017, Thai will be utilizing its newest aircraft type, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner for flight operations between Bangkok and Taipei with flight TG632 Bangkok-Taipei and TG633 Taipei-Bangkok. Currently, Thai offers 20 weekly flights between Bangkok and Taipei.
Thai took delivery of its first 787-9, the pictured HS-TWA, on September 15, 2017. A second copy was subsequently delivered, allowing the carrier to start operations with the new type.
