TAAG Angola Airlines to acquire three more Boeing 777-300 ERs

TAAG Angola Airlines (TAAG Linhas Aereas de Angola) (Luanda) currently operates three Boeing 777-200s and two 777-300 ERs. The company has three additional 777-300 ERs on order whichย will be delivered in May 2014, December 2015 and March 2016 according to this report by Macau Hub. The airline also holds options for three more.

TAAG-Angola Airlines orders two Boeing 777-300 ERs

TAAG Linhas Aereas de Angola (Angola Airlines) (Luanda) has ordered two 777-300 ERs (Extended Range) in a deal that also includes purchase rights for two additional 777-300 ER jetliners.

TAAG, the flag carrier for Angola, will use the airplanes for route expansion to additional European destinations. TAAG currently flies Boeing 777-200 ERs (Extended Range) 10 times weekly from Luanda, Angola, to Lisbon, twice weekly to Beijing via Dubai and four times weekly to Rio de Janeiro.
