American Airlines (Dallas/Fort Worth) has issued this statement:

American Airlines is further bolstering its presence in Los Angeles, where it has operated service for more than eight decades, by becoming the Official Airline partner of the Los Angeles Clippers. American has signed a multi-year deal with the NBA’s Pacific Division champions, which has called Los Angeles home for more than 20 years.

As the Official Airline of the Clippers, American’s logo will appear on the court during home games and the airline will be a featured sponsor during in-game TV and radio broadcasts. American’s more than 5,000 LAX-based employees already donate their time and resources to community partners in the greater Los Angeles area and the partnership with the Clippers allows for participation in the team’s charitable events throughout the year. American customers and employees will also have the opportunity to take part in festivities and events with the Clippers during the season.
