LTU’s AOC is officially merged into Airberlin

LTU International Airways Airbus A330-322 D-AERS (msn 171) MIA (Bruce Drum) (AOC merged into Airberlin), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

LTU International Airways’ (Dusseldorf) AOC was officially merged into parent Airberlin (Berlin-Tegel) on April 1, 2011.

Airberlin considers selling LTU

Airberlin (Airberlin.com) (Berlin-Tegel) is considering selling its long-haul LTU (Dusseldorf) subsidiary according to a report in Wirtschaftswoche. LTU currently operates four Airbus A330-200s and three A330-300s.
