EVA Air and UNI Air to operate its last McDonnell Douglas MD-90 flights in May

EVA Air (Taipei) and its subsidiary UNI Air (Taipei) are gradually retiring its McDonnell Douglas MD-90-30 aircraft.

According to Airline Route, EVA Air will operate its last MD-90 revenue flight on May 7 on the Kaohsiung – Macau route.

Meanwhile UNI Air will operate the last MD-90 revenue flight on May 31 on the Taichung – Hangzhou and return route. All of this is subject to change.

SAS to lease the eight Blue1 MD-90s to an unidentified U.S. airline

Scandinavian Airlines-SAS (Stockholm) is planning to lease its eight McDonnell Douglas MD-90-30s to an unidentified U.S. carrier (Delta?). The aircraft are currently being operated by subsidiary Blue1 (Helsinki) but are being replaced by newer Boeing 717-200s.

Delta to add five new destinations and 14 new flights from Raleith/Durham

Delta Air Lines (Atlanta) is building up its services from Raleigh/Durham. Starting on November 11, DL will add new destinations from RDU and 14 new flights bringing the total to 54 flights.

Delta to expand its winter Atlanta service to Montrose/Telluride

Delta Air Lines (Atlanta) will expand its winter Atlanta non-stop service to Montrose/Telluride from Saturday only to daily service beginning December 18, 2010. The Atlanta to Montrose/Telluride daily non-stop service will run until April 3, 2011. Service will be provided on a 76-seat Delta Connection CRJ900 (64 Coach and 12 First Class Seats) and on a 142- seat MD-90-30 aircraft.
