Myway Airlines (Tbilisi) on June 28, 2018 launched a new route linking Tbilisi’s Shota Rustaveli International Airport with Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport.
The new route will be served three days a week with 170-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The expanding airline has plans to serve the USA and scheduled flights to Moscow, Minsk, Dubai, St. Petersburg, Russia, Samara and Beijing (via Urumqi).
Myway Airlines is part of the Hualing Group which was founded in 1988 in China.
Myway Airlines (Tbilisi), which started charter operations on March 31, 2018, has now launched its first scheduled airline flight. The first scheduled route was operated on June 13, 2018 and was between Tbilisi and Kharkiv, Ukraine. This new route will operate two days a week.
The Georgian carrier also operates between Batumi and Kharkiv.
MyWay Airlines (Tbilisi) launched operations on March 31, 2018. The new airline operated a roundtrip charter flight from Tbilisi to Tehran, Iran and back with a Boeing 737-800.
The new airline received its AOC in January 2018.
The carrier will commence regular flights in May.
The airline is initially planning to fly to Tehran, Kiev, Minsk, Tel Aviv and Dubai.
Later this year, flights are scheduled for Moscow (Zhukovsky), Samara and St. Petersburg.
From August, the company plans to fly to Urumqi.
The fleet is currently two Boeing 737-800s (4L-BQJ and 4L-MWA), with a third plane due in the beginning of July and the fourth in December, 2018.
Myway Airlines (Tbilisi) is a new airline in the Republic of Georgia. The new airline took delivery of its first Boeing 737-800 (4L-MWA) on September 23, 2017. It added its second Boeing 737-800 (4L-BQJ above and below) on November 9, 2017.
The upstart is now going through the certification process and expects to fly to Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
