Swiss International Air Lines updates its livery

Swiss International Air Lines (Zurich) has introduced its updated 2012 color scheme with the January 11, 2012 delivery of this new Airbus A330-343X HB-JHK (msn 1276). The new addition entered revenue service on January 15 from the Zurich hub to Dubai and Muscat as flight LX 242.

The new livery incorporates some subtle changes while retaining the classic red and white colors and traditional red tail with the white cross. However two changes catch the eye – a much larger red “SWISS” titles now overlaps the windowline. In additional the company has dropped the multi-lingual name of the airline by the main titles on the forward fuselage.
