Hainan Airlines (Haikou and Beijing) will start the Beijing – Prague route three days a week beginning on September 23. The new route will operate with Boeing 767-300 aircraft per Airline Route.

Hainan Airlines (Haikou) also returned to profitability in 2009 when it posted a net profit of $49 million. the company is also planning to add new service to Honolulu.

Gulf Air (Bahrain) has finalized a lease deal with Jet Airways for the 42-month lease of four Boeing 777-300 ERs. ย The first three aircraft will arrive in March 2009 and the fourth in May. ย The airliners will be wet leased for the first six months as the new type is phased in with Jet Airways crews. ย The remaining three years of the lease will be on a dry lease basis. ย Jet Airways is leasing out what it considers to be surplus equipment during the economic downturn.
